Well, rehearsals were… interesting.

littlelion-blaine:

She’s definitely…interesting. A little…enthusiastic. And, uh…yeah, a little controlling. Is that really how saw Rachel? Harmony’s…I mean, she was intense.

I would totally help you with lines, but I should probably start studying my own for now.

That’s not how I saw Rachel— that’s how I made it sound like Rachel was like.

And the beauty of being in the same production means we can practice lines together. I only have two, so it’s not like mine will take very long. Still, I like to be prepared.

Second to last day of work!

littlelion-blaine:

Well. My extra-curriculars aren’t quite up to par with Rachel’s, but…I think she’s in just about every single club that school offers and, between you and me (despite the fact that she can read this), that’s a little insane. But…I’m hoping it’s enough to get me into the college I want.

It might just be me, but I don’t think you’re going to need to be in the Black Students Union or the Muslim Students Club to get into NYU.

Second to last day of work!

littlelion-blaine:

Oh, I’m definitely planning on going to college. I was actually considering NYU. I was going to send an application in to them and I was going to try for Juilliard as well.

Well, you’re talented and smart, with some great extra-curriculars. You’re bound to get in to any university you apply to.

Second to last day of work!

littlelion-blaine:

You’re headed to New York, too?

It’s all Rachel talks about. We’re probably going to move out together just to move back in together.

You’ll find that Rachel and I have very similar future plans. (though mine involve a lot less entitlement)

I’ll be undoubtedly dorming, though. I’m aiming for NYU… Where would you like to go? If you’re planning on going to college, that is.

Second to last day of work!

littlelion-blaine:

More like…a modestly sized cake with the word “Goodbye!” written across it and everyone in the room at the time is free to take a piece if they want to. I may have used the word “party” a little loosely.

But they are nice to work with, and you should definitely sign up next year.

Still… it’s cake.

Sadly (or, not so sadly), I’ll probably be high-tailing it to New York as soon as I can next summer, so getting free cake from Six Flags will be the last thing on my mind.

Second to last day of work!

littlelion-blaine:

Everyone who works here is really cool. Even though I’ve only worked here barely a month, they’re throwing me a little “goodbye” party. Not really a party—we just get cake, which is really nice of them. Usually they do it on the last day, but I guess I let slip that I’m hanging out with Kurt tomorrow right after my shift.

This cake is delicious—I’m bringing an extra slice or two home.

Goodbye party? Just for performing at Six Flags?

Sounds like a nice bunch of people to work with. Sign me up for next year.

It was a long day at work.

littlelion-blaine:

Yeah, of course! That sounds great. I’ve been wanting to try out a couple more rides, but it’s not as much fun going alone. If you want to, of course.

Of course I want to— I was the one who suggested it, right?

I’ll see you Saturday, Blaine.

It was a long day at work.

littlelion-blaine:

I told them at the start that I wouldn’t be able to work very long because of the play, so my last day’s Saturday. But they’re giving me the whole week to work through until then, so I’ll be a little busy. I’m really looking forward to rehearsals, though! It’ll be great to have everyone together for the summer.

Can I come see you again on Saturday? As it’s your last day, it’s my last chance, as well. I mean, if you don’t mind…

Wow…

littlelion-blaine:

I know—I mean, I never underestimated myself…but I had some tough competition, Kurt. As I’m sure you’re well aware.

You would have been great too, though. Actually, I’m kind of bummed I won’t really get to see you in action.

Aw, well… Maybe you’ll be able to sneak a glance during rehearsals, or something.

We’ll see. I really am looking forward to it, lead or no.

Wow…

littlelion-blaine:

I’m…still kind of in shock, a little bit. But congratulations to everyone who got the role they auditioned for! And I think the summer is still going to be amazing and the production is a great way to spend time together. I’m really looking forward to rehearsals!

There’s no need to be in shock, Blaine. You’re an amazing performer, and I’m sure you’ll make a wonderful Prince. I really mean that.

At least someone’s being positive about all of this.
